Kim Wilson

President/Funeral Director/Embalmer

A native of Avenel, New Jersey, Kim has been working in the funeral industry for almost his whole life.  He began his career by working at his uncle's funeral home in Elizabeth, New Jersey when he was a teenager washing the cars and working as a greeter at viewings and funerals.  He then expanded his knowledge and gained more experience by doing his apprenticeship at Werson Funeral Home in Linden, New Jersey.  When he and his wife Judy moved to California, Kim worked at Buchheim Family Chapel in Fresno (known today as Palm La Paz).  While they were living and working in Fresno for a few years, he decided that he wanted to start his own funeral home.  Kim is a licensed funeral director in both New Jersey and California, a former knight of the Knights of Columbus #4305 and has over 40 years experience in all areas of funeral service.

Judith Wilson

Vice President/Manager/Funeral Director/Embalmer

A native of Carteret, New Jersey, Judy was originally a microbiologist, graduating with a degree in microbiology from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.  Judy started her career as a funeral director by helping her husband Kim with memorial and funeral services, and cremations.  Judy then got her degree in mortuary science from American Academy McAllister Institute in New York City and is the vice president and manager of Wilson Family Funeral Chapel, Whitehurst-McNamara Funeral Service and Miller's Tulare Funeral Home.  Judy is also a past member of the Livermore Rotary Club and the Atwater-Winton Lions Club.

Brice Wilson

Apprentice Embalmer/Webmaster

Brice is Kim and Judy's only son.  Brice graduated from University of the Pacific in Stockton with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences.  He currently works part time at the funeral home, helping with funerals, memorial services, embalming and other work around the funeral homes and the crematory.  Brice has recently obtained his apprentice embalmer certificate and is currently enrolled at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science pursuing his degree in Mortuary Science.  Brice is also a master mason with the Turlock Masonic Lodge NO. 236.   

Roy Browning

Funeral Assistant & Arranger

Roy has been working full time at the Wilson Atwater Funeral Chapel for 10 years assisting with many aspects of funeral service.  He also travels around the other funeral homes and help whenever needed.  Roy began working in the funeral industry starting as a grave digger at Turlock Memorial Park and then went to work as a funeral assistant at Allen Mortuary in Turlock.  Aside from working at the funeral home, Roy is also the owner of Atwater Pro Glass and a member of the Atwater Kiwanis Club.

Priscilla is the newest addition to our family here at Wilson's.  Priscilla is also fluent in both English and Spanish.

Nicole is one of our newest additions here at Wilson Funeral Chapel.  Nicole has a wealth of experience working as funeral counselor at Allen Mortuary and as an administrative assistant at Lakewood Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
